ELITE TRAVEL GRANTS

Athlete Pathway Travel Grant

The Athlete Pathway Travel Grants Program provides grants to improve Victorian athlete development pathways from community to national representation level. Support is available to assist community sport and recreation athletes, coaches, officials and teams with the travel costs of participating in training and competition, and for high performance Victorian athletes and teams to compete at national championships or selection events   http://sport.vic.gov.au/grants-and-funding/our-grants/athlete-pathway-travel-grants-program

FACILITY LOAN SCHEME AND NATIONAL COURT REBATE SCHEME - Status - Ongoing  Amount: Varies

The Tennis Australia Facility Loan Scheme financially assists affiliated Australian Tennis Clubs, Centres and Associations with upgrades, replacements and improvements on their tennis facilities, by providing low interest loans.  Further information: Tennis Australia or phone 9914 4000.

EMERGENCY SPORTING AND RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT   - Ongoing These grants provide assistance to grassroots sport and active recreation clubs and organisations to replace essential sporting or first aid equipment that has been lost or destroyed as a consequence of fire, flood, significant storm event, theft or criminal damage.   (Can be submitted up to 3 months after the loss or damage)  Amount: Up to $2000  Further information: Department of Transport, Planning & Local Infrastructure (Sport & Recreation Victoria) or phone 1300 366 356.

GRANTS 4 GRASSROOTS – AUSTRALIAN SPORTS FOUNDATION - Grants available for innovative ideas to increase participation in grassroots and community based sport.

Complete an online application – you will need your ABN and information about your organisation’s incorporation and financial status for the application.

Boots For All equipment grant – OPEN

Boots For All’s vision is to have an active and socially inclusive Australia through sport. The organisation exists to break down barriers to sport participation & strengthen communities by collecting & distributing quality, new and near-new sports equipment to vulnerable Australians and by providing volunteering and training opportunities via the Sports for All social enterprise sports store.

Status: Ongoing

Amount: Various sports equipment

    A Getin2Cricket will be conducted at the East End Community - Dove Place, Mildura.
