Responsible Serving of Alcohol and Food Handlers Courses coming up
15th February 2010
The Mallee Sports Assembly in conjunction with the Good Sports Program will be conducting a Responsible Serving of Alcohol (RSA) and is seeking expressions of interest for a Food Handling Course. Sporting Clubs play important roles in our local community and Mallee Sports Assembly have recognised there is a need for ongoing education and training opportunities that help lift the standard of clubs. As such we are offering Responsible Serving of Alcohol courses and Food Handling Courses at a minimal cost.
The aim of RSA sessions is to provide assistance, advice and information to members of sporting clubs who are responsible for serving liquor on licensed sporting club premises. Participants that complete the workshop successfully will receive an official certification from Liquor Licensing Victoria. The RSA courses will be held in Mildura on the 22nd February, 2010 at 6pm.
As part of Level 2 criteria for Good Sports accreditation program, sporting clubs need to provide food options. The Food Handling Course provides assistance, advice and information to members who are responsible for the correct preparation and delivery of food within a sporting club. Participants who successfully complete the Food Handling Course will receive official certification. To register your interest in a Food Handling Course contact Mallee Sports Assembly.
Numbers are limited and reservations will be taken on a “first-in-first-served” basis. For more information and to register please contact Jeanette Worthington at the Mallee Sports Assembly on 50213464.
